A Historic Country Inn Bed and Breakfast in Lenox, MA in the heart of the Berkshires. This authentic New England inn was built in 1771, and for more than 200 years has earned a reputation for fine hospitality.

Its Colonial beginnings are reflected in its furnishings, and its special ambiance has been carefully preserved throughout extensive renovations to provide today’s travelers with modern amenities to please every discriminating taste. Stenciled wallpapers and Oriental rugs in the public rooms complement the Inn’s maple floors and unpretentious Federal architecture.

All of the thirty-two guest rooms are unique and are individually furnished with country antiques and reproductions. All rooms have a telephone with voice mail, a 25″ (four rooms have 20″) TV with VCR, CD player with FM clock radio, and a private bath with hair dryer and magnifying mirrors, most with whirlpool tub. Our variety of rooms offer a choice of queen four-poster canopied bed or a king or two twins beds; some rooms have a working fireplace. A special feature is an extensive Video Movie Library that is complimentary and allows guests to enjoy their favorite movie in the comfort of their own room.

The Village Inn is located in the heart of the Berkshire mountains, convenient to internationally famous cultural attractions like Tanglewood, ski resorts, and the Norman Rockwell Museum. Bargain Inn Packages including meals and special events are offered in the winter and spring.

But come anytime and enjoy each of New England’s distinctive seasons; for the Village Inn never closes, and like the Berkshireman in our logo and signpost, you are always welcome.
